Meet Dr. Meagan-Rhose Abanto (Seattle, WA)
Dr. Meagan-Rhose Abanto completed her undergraduate schooling at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2021 with clinical honors. Following optometry school, Dr. Abanto completed a residency in ocular disease with the Indian Health Service at Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center in New Mexico.
Dr. Abanto’s professional interests are primary care and ocular disease, including diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma. She is passionate about public health and working with marginalized communities.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Abanto brings extensive clinical expertise in ocular disease management and primary vision care to Broadway Vision.
In her free time, she likes to travel, read, and try new recipes.
