ZEISS i.Profiler Technology Is Here at Broadway Vision Source

We at Broadway Vision Source have an new, innovative, and concise way to measure your eyes, resulting in a more customized, precise lens prescription. We are happy to be able to include our new ZEISS i.Profiler in your regular eye exam at no extra cost.

As a patient, all you need to do is look at a target within the i.Profiler screen while it measures the topography of your cornea and any aberrations. This takes a few seconds, and then, within a few minutes, the i.Profiler creates a map of your cornea and generates a computerized prescription. Next, the i.Profiler uses an algorithm to combine this information with what your doctor noted during your eye exam. The end result is a prescription so accurate that it will correct your vision even in situations in which your pupils are dilated, as in night driving.

This is great news for people with astigmatism, near-sightedness, far-sightedness, people who need surgical corrections, and many other conditions. The i.Profiler here at Broadway Vision Source is up and running, so you’ll get to try it during your next eye exam.
