Statement on the Death of George Floyd

We at Broadway Vision Source are thankful and proud to reflect the diversity of our community. We are a rainbow of colors. We respect one another for who we are, and how we treat ourselves and those around us. We have all experienced victimization at some point in our lives, and ironically because of that, we respect each other even more because we can share that pain with each other, and take solace in our mutual understanding and shared compassion. We celebrate our diversity for the enlightenment it brings to us, and realize how similar all of our values and morals actually are. We treat all individuals – including all of our patients – to the best of our joint abilities. We work together for the better good, for you.

In this time of societal and personal introspection, as we integrate further the gravity of black lives needlessly lost, it is reassuring to know that we have such a diverse team which works so well together, thanks to the recognition and the respect for our differences.
