Our Office Team
Meet the experienced and friendly office team members who make Broadway Vision Source the leading provider of vision care products and services in Seattle.
Reliable, hard working, and a jack of all trades, Ken has over 12 years of experience in opticianry. He is proficient at “edging” spectacle lenses using our Santinelli LEX 1000 lens edger to custom fit them into frames, which gives him unique insight into which frames are most appropriate for your lenses, and visa-versa. In his words: it’s about “the art of finding that right jewelry for the face.” Ken is also an excellent resource for frame repairs, and adjustments due to his hands-on approach and craftsmanship.
Ken is a native of California, who – along with his family – enjoy exploring the great Northwest.
Dion Di Blassi
Dion is a pre-optometry intern at BVS, who volunteers his time to assist in preliminary testing. Brandy brings with her more than a decade of experience as an ophthalmic technician. She is expert at assisting in preliminary and ancillary vision testing procedures, assists keeping our patient flow efficient, as well as taking accurate (yet flattering) images of the inside of patients’ eyes.
Hailing originally from Sacramento she moved to Seattle in search of a little less sunshine and little more music. Brandy, whilst not providing five star Tech service can be found walking her dog Kiawa, cross stitching, gaming and baking (she promises the waist lines of the BVS staff will soon be the proof).
John Guild, A.B.O.C.
As a 2nd generation optician, John is a true optical artisan, dedicated to providing the best product for you. He began his craft at a high-end optical boutique in his hometown of Denver, and joined Broadway Vision Source in 2005. In addition to providing expert frame styling, John is our go-to-guy for information on why some lens features (such as anti-reflective coatings) will work on some lenses, and not others. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and provides much needed assistance in expert repairs to resurrecting broken glasses using parts in our optical lab.
John is a sports enthusiast who will cheer for the Seahawks unless they’re playing against the Broncos.

Warren Ruby, L.D.O.
Known as the ‘Wizard of Eyes’ on Capitol Hill, Warren Ruby brings over 30 years of optical and managerial experience to Broadway Vision Source. As our Optical Manager, he offers unique expertise in selecting the right eye wear for clients based upon their facial shapes, coloring, and style-expression. “My desire is to help people look and see their very best! In my experience, it takes another person with an objective eye to compliment the individual’s face with eyeglasses. Educating your clients as to the particular styles which suit them best is most challenging and exciting to me!”
Prior to joining us in 2010, Warren was General Manager of an optical boutique on Broadway, and also owned his own optical business in Edmonds, WA. For a time, he was District Manager of Lunettes Cartier, USA.
‘The best compliment on my work comes when another person sees my clients in their new eyewear and states: “Where did you get those? They fit you perfectly!”
Warren is a graduate of the University of Washington, and bestows a powerful operatic voice.
Anna Sirianni, C.P.O.T.
After relocating in 2011 from another Vision Source office in Spokane, Anna was originally hired as a Certified Para-Optometric Technician. However, Anna’s strengths in effective interpersonal communications and administrative skills earned her the role as our Administrative Coordinator. Anna assures that your experience is second to none from the moment you contact us, to the moment you leave. Anna has been twice selected by her BVS peers as Employee of the Year.
Anna was born and raised in the Chicago-land area and still roots for her Chicago Bears. She and her husband are proud parents, who enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and weight lifting. Anna is here to help with any questions and concerns related to your experience here at Broadway Vision Source.
John was previously with Furla, then Cole Hahn in downtown Seattle when he decided to switch from high-end shoe and garment sales to optical sales at a nearby optical boutique. His “eye” for fashion and pleasant demeanor gained him notoriety as he built his client base and moved onward to join BVS in 2010. John has since excelled in every facet as a frame stylist, from selecting that frame that’s just the right one for you, to providing you easy to understand lens options.
A native of Seattle, John enjoys travel, cooking, and eating!
