Dr. Matsunami and Dr. Nakatsu at Broadway Vision Source are Board Certified

Your Broadway Vision Source doctors are all fully licensed optometrists, having passed the National Boards long ago. Drs. Matsunami, Nakatsu, and LeClaire attend numerous classes throughout each year in order to stay on top of the latest in optometry and to provide the best quality eye care.

A step further than that is in earning American Board of Optometry Board Certification. Board Certification is voluntary and there are many wonderful optometrists who have not taken this step, but Dr. Matsunami and Dr. Nakatsu decided to go for it; they each earned their Board Certification this past January.

Board Certification requires hours of extra study on everything learned since optometry school up to the latest in eye care technology. The certification exam is rigorous, testing knowledge, skill, real-life experience, and diagnostic ability. Drs. Matsunami and Nakatsu will continue the extra work required to maintain Board Certification status. This is one of the many ways that we at Broadway Vision Source hope to demonstrate our commitment and dedication to you.
